First, you need to differentiate between an all-ages rally and and adults only event. And one with a reputation for wildness vs. one that's adults only just because they serve beer. Obviously, much more likely to see skin at an adults only event with a reputation. And then also more likely to see skin and more skin (tits vs. pussy) at an event on private property .....(edited)........ There's also the incentive factor. Asking nicely vs. good beads or other swag. Also note that most rallies are 3:1 or 4:1 men to women, which limits the total number of candidates.

That means that photographing a rally to get the most shots of the most different women is hard work. I'm normally on my feet and walking for 3-4 hours in the afternoon and then from 7 or 8 pm straight through until 2 or 3 am. You have to go to where they are and it's hard work. Lots of guys will sit by their campsite or just hang around a mechanical bull but they'll get only a fraction of what those of us who walk around will see and shoot.

If you're looking for rallies, google is your friend for "adult biker party" and usabikerparties will get you Fat Bob's free reviews of a bunch of events.
Thanks, RG. I agree with most of everything RG said. In a nutshell it's all about the atmosphere. For instance, at Sturgis, one of the most recognized rallies in the US, it all depends on where you are in Sturgis. If you stay at one of the nearby Motels and only venture to mainstreet, you'll see gobs of bikes but little skin. But if you stay at one of the campgrounds like Buffalo Chip you'll probably think there's more tits than bikes.

And of course YOU are a factor in the atmosphere. If you're wearing loafers, shorts, a t-shirt with a smiley face, and an above the collar haircut, you're less likely to have girls flash for you than if you were wearing boots, jeans, a t-shirt that says something like "If You Don't Walk With a Limp You Ain't Shit", and long hair. Girls are more likely to flash for you if you're part of the event as opposed to simply being an ogler. Biker girls are different than other girls(IMO). Generally speaking, women run the world, whether we as men want to admit it or not. We adore them, we buy them gifts and flowers. Other than sports, our world revolves around our women. It's a bit different in the biker world. In the biker life the man is more dominant. The woman's life revolves around her man and his bike.

I've been riding for what is approaching 50 years now. Even though I'm not as hardcore as some, I THINK that's a big factor in my success in being able to get a lot of pictures over the years. I hang around with the crowd. I talk bikes with the bikers and party with them. That's one area where I maybe differ in RG's approach. RG probably gets a lot of good pictures after dark but I shoot a lot less pictures at night. I'm too busy getting f*cked up with the rest of them.

But I agree with the 'incentive' aspect that RG mentioned. Girls love beads. I think there's some exhibitionist in everyone. But the beads give them a reason. I usually have one of five different girls ride with me to an event. They usually wear or carry the beads. Additionally, the girl that's with me flashes for other men and usually that man's girl flashes for me. Believe it or not, flashing is contagious, LOL. So it doesn't hurt to have a girlfriend along that helps make the party. That way you don't come across as a vulture.

I've said before, I've got tens of thousands of pics that I've taken, maybe even hundreds of thousands. On this one computer I'm now using I've got (2)250 gig hard drives and (1)terabyte hard drive with a total of 102 gigs of free space, in addition to an older full computer, LOL. Of course, a lot of that is just bikes and cars(I've also got a hot rod, a 1966 Comet Cyclone with a stroked 408 C.I., 637 H.P., so I go to car shows, too). It's a shame I live out here where I can't get a high speed connection. In addition to this thread, I've got to get back to posting in the 'Can She Ride It', 'Bike Wash', 'Girls on the Back of Bikes', and 'Beach, Bikinis, Girls' threads. I also intend to start a thread at some point called 'Charlie's Girls Ain't Angels' featuring some of my past and present girlfriends. And I also want to post in a 'Girls on Bikes' thread.

I've been to Daytona, Myrtle Beach, Lacona, Sturgis, Little Sturgis, Gulfport, Roscoe's, etc. But of all them, I prefer the Smoke-Out. It's smaller than most and maybe not as rowdy. But you'll always see more old school, home built choppers there than at any of the other events. Maybe I'm getting old.
