the beach is called candolim with grounded ship behind removed from water surface by cutting,still underwater remains is there.it will go this year after six years of grounding.In late 70 and 80 s when hippies were visiting the goa there were not many people visiting beaches as transport was not available after 7 pm as goa was just had a village look but very beautifull.today spoiled by concretisation,prostitution,sex,drugs and what not.during those time i remember going for a school picnic at the beach near candolim.it is one big strectch of beaches.i could see all hippies fully naked on the beaches lying down.it so happened one of the child of hippy started coming with us over some distance.seeing this the mother just wrapped the see thrugh cloth around her to pick the child.at that time we were very suprised to see the pubic hair.the nudity was allowed upto late 80 to early 90 but after that domestic tourist started coming here with local also visiting.this made goverement to stop nudity.now u can see occassionally some tanning themself but onle seminude.Also that time rave parties were taking place for full three days during christmas time.once a beautiful place with natural beauty is lost to commercial interest.very sorry.
