I cannot upload .m2ts files to this forum (I tried). I have downloaded a program that can crop and convert .m2ts files, and I have posted one of the output files below. I wasn't able to make vidcaps of the output file, so I've posted vidcaps of the original video. The video I've uploaded is a centered crop of the original video with half the height and half the width.

I'm still not sure of the best way to proceed. I could convert the videos into a form that I can upload without changing anything else, but do you really want to download a bunch of 100 MB videos that only last 30 seconds? Some of the original videos are more than a gigabyte in size (well, one is, and others come close). If I am to continue cropping, can you recommend a program for it? Right now I am using the evaluation version of something that I'm supposed to pay for if I want to use for real, and there are restrictions on the evaluation version. I might be willing to pay, but I would want to feel confident that I was paying for the right program.

Another option would be to simply reduce the quality of the videos, but I personally think it would be better to cut out trees, ducks, and empty buildings and furniture than to make trees, ducks, furniture, buildings and naked women more blurry.
