Underwired bra
a brassiere with a wire built into the underside of the cup intended to lift, separate, shape, and provide additional support for a woman's breasts. The underwire is a thin, semi-circular strip of rigid material such as metal or plastic fitted inside the cloth along the bottom and sides of the bra cup.
