Yeah, I've done the same. That's why I shoot only in sunny days, otherwise the shutter time would be too long and subjects will be either blurry because of motion or noisy as hell. Obviously dslr is out of the question, it attracts too much attention. People are less afraid of small toyish camera than professional looking dslr with a massive external zoom lens. Besides, photoshop can in fact reduce noise pretty well, so I'll be shooting this kind of pictures with my trusty old small superzoom probably as long as it works.
