I pretty much agree with what you say, though I must admit I did enjoy it when I bought the DVD.

However if your looking for "sexy" Paolo Pasolini movies I would recommend The Decameron (1971), The Canterury Tales (1972) and Arabian Nights (1974). All are funny, entertaining and aesthetically pleasing enough to replay multiple watches with the added bonus of plenty of naked female (and it has to be said male) flesh on display.

All three are easily available on uncut English language friendly region 2 DVD and region B Blu-ray from the British Film Institute. As is Salo.
