I agree. I am a average in most measures of beauty but I seem to turn white men on. Oddly, back in college when I confess to having done some modeling. I believe I was more successful being presented as an exotic to white customer base as I was being pitched as an Indian to a Desi or other Asian customer base. I was too "ethnic" for one prominent US Indian jewelry chain's website. I look to
site now and they have one Indian looking and several very light looking models. There is definitely discrimination within light and dark brown communities. I find plenty of equal opportunity types
among American men who like me just fine.
