November/December and an interview...

Have you seen Calendar Girls?
Yeh. We went the first week.

Did you all think - I'm going to do that?
We just sat, watched and enjoyed the film. It wasn't until we got to work that we talked about it. It was just an offhand comment. We were just joking. It just kind of escalated from there.

What was it like having your pictures taken?
Very nerve-wracking.

What was the worst bit?
Getting your clothes off in front of the cameraman. It wasn't easy. We'd never met him before. Stripping off in front of someone you've never met before is never easy.

There's a little bit left to the imagination... you're not completely naked...
Well, it is for children.

How did you decide to cover yourselves up?
Well, the clients helped.

What sort of suggestions did they come up with then? Who suggested the shaving foam?
Someone just suggested it and then we practised how long it would stay on our arms before it dribbled off.

So the photographer did the pictures for free...
Yeh.

Well, he would, wouldn't he!
He enjoyed it. He's been brilliant. He put us all at ease. Without him we might not have done it.
