Naked Toni just part of the neighbourhood

For Toni, a single mom of two, her club is as much political as physical.

“I don’t go into your bedroom telling you you’re doing it wrong, so don’t come into mine and tell me I’m doing it wrong.”

Recognize Toni? Perhaps you’ve seen her on a streetcar, buying a ice cream at City Hall, hailing a cab on University, riding an island ferry.

Hard to miss her. Auburn hair, green eyes, 5-foot-nothing, a highly buff 41. And naked as the day she was born.

It’s her new schtick on the subscription service, Naked News. They call it Crazy Things Toni Does Naked.

So far, everyone has played along. “The ferry captain came out and I heard the walkie-talkies going and I figured, uh-oh.

“But he just smiled, tipped his hat and kept walking.

“Everyone’s letting me get away with this stuff.”

Saturday night, she planned to hop out of a limo and streak at a TIFF premiere.

Another blow for the crusade. “I’m not saying everyone has to go around naked, but I truly believe you should have that right.”
