IMO means in my opinion, for future reference.
i agree, Quixote, there are some good points there... in particular, the more ridiculous and unbelievable the events in a story are, the more grounding details you need to add to make it real. It doesn't matter if the story's main character grows to be 50' tall and rips out of her clothes, there needs to be SOMETHING about it that keeps it realistic, like her reaction or the description of how her body looks to someone 1/10th her height. Details make the story.
