Philadelphia, the American East Coast city famous for The Liberty Bell, Cheese-steaks, pretzels with mustard, hoagies sandwiches and Mummers Parades held its World Naked Bike Ride on Sunday Sept. 4, 2011.
The turnout was good, certainly more than a thousand riders spanning various age groups, and body types. However, a number of male observers complained that it was a bit of a "sausage show" with one guy claiming there were ten times as many guys as women. Also, as might be expected even fewer women rode fully nude, although there were some welcome and notable female standouts. That included one fully nude and very attractive young woman standing out proudly and showing all of her tanlines while standing on skates.

The ride lasted about two hours, and there were people taking lots of snaps all along the route.
These are just the first few pictures showing up on Sunday night. Hopefully there will be many more in the days to come.
