The short answer is "I don't know."

It was an abundance of caution I guess because I don't know so much about file compression and such. I only know that I had some pics that were large when they were displayed and other identical images that were not necessarily larger when displayed...yet the file sizes were larger. I figured that the larger file sizes translated into superior quality (perhaps when printing? or maybe less compression?) and I didn't want to be responsible for deleting them or omitting them from the .zip. If the only difference is that one picture consumes more memory, then you should delete the pictures with "B" in the filename from your collection after you unzip. If you know why some of the pictures have a larger file size and why they aren't worth saving, please let me know. Being ignorant I didn't want to make that decision for everyone else.
