National Go Topless protest Day 2010
 

Sunday, Aug 22nd is National Go Topless Protest Day. The website (gotopless.org) that is promoting this lists ten or so cities that will be holding protests, but I tend to think there will be more cities where women are going to be topless in public, but just not organized enough or officially registered to be included on the site. The following cities are listed as having protests:

New York City
Venice BEach, Ca
Chicago
Miami Beach
Austin, Tx
Seattle
Oahu, Hawaii
Denver, Co
San Francisco

Now if a city like Portland, OR for example was also going to have a protest, i would have no way of knowing about it unless it got Twittered or maybe its at Facebook or Yahoo. Same for other cities. So lets do some surfing and digging, and report on anything we find here. This event should not be hard to photograph wherever it is held, as publicity matters and is in fact encouraged. Then after the 22nd, we can also put pics here.

Seattle's protest is going to take place at Hempfest, a hippie festival north of downtown at a park on Puget Sound.
I hear its going to be a bit "nippy" for nips, but hey, that makes them "stand out" in the crowd, too......:)

I was in Seattle today, at the hempfest, and I didn't find anyone in topless!!
I'm so disappointed... :(
