Lucky find
1 Attachment(s)
A friend of mine was clearing out his garage and put his hand into the eaves. He found a Kodak 6x4 yellow box that contained a collection of glamour shots. Sadly some of these had got some water damage, but we rescued most of them. They seem to date from the 40's and 50's - I recognise the style of decor and furniture from my childhood.
I have just put one up (hopfully to see if I can actually get it right! If this works I will try to get the rest up (there are over 70 of them) as soon as possible. They need re-touching to get rid of the damage - feel free to have a go. Enjoy this young lady - she is my favourite. I often wonder who she is and if she is still alive. |
OK - that seemed to work. The next question is - do I put them up one at a time, or zip them all up, or do both?

Very interesting post allot of history to ponder and beauty to take in thanks for sharing

would be very nice if you put it in a zip file
|
I will - it's just a case of doing it! I shall continue to post the pictures so that others have something to look at.
The picures are scans at a reasonable resolution. I have both JPG (which are posted here) and BMP which obviously have no compression applied - which format would members prefer? |
