zip files timing out
 

Hello, I've been trying to download some zips from the forum server and not only is it really slow, but I can't complete the download. The download stops when it's around 25% complete.. Is something up with the host or what?

Things appear to be working fine on our end. I just tested four randomly chosen .ZIP files and didn't have any trouble with download speed or timeouts.

Let me know if this problem persists or if anyone else is experiencing this.

thanks for the reply. But still seems to be slow. I'm downloading zips at 5.5 kb/s so it's estimating one zip downloads in an hour and a half, which seems very slow. I don't have trouble steaming video, so I'm assuming it must be the forum server.

I'm trying to download this for example: https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/atta...2&d=1245046546 which is only 30mb

I'm not having any problems either. It's possible that the problem is on your end. Are you having trouble downloading ZIPs from elsewhere? Sometimes ISPs put download restrictions on certain file types.
