Session Expires too often !!!

Off late I have noticed that after I login, within a few minutes (sometimes just within a minute or two) the session expires and I have to re-login. Is anyone else experiencing these kind of issues ? I noticed this some time last week. I have not been able to "Thank" any of the member for their threads either. Often after I login, if I click on a thread I find that the session has expired.

I am using IE8 with Windows XP. Is there something wrong with my machine/browser or are some other people experiencing this too ?

Session Expires are a common problem with IE8, as well as other bugs.

Try the following:

Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>Advanced. Check off Override Automatic Cookie Handling and Always Accept Session Cookies, then click OK twice to exit out.

If that doesn't seem to work you should try switching over to Firefox. It's definitely more user friendly and virtually bug free.

Yes I doubt it has anything to do with IE8, I use it without any problems, here and all the other sites where I'm logged into.,

Typical FF users try to get people to use it. I never hear when there's FF problems (which there is) they say, use another browser :)

Both browsers have their positives and negatives. I used IE for about 4 years before switching to Firefox last year, I just prefer to use it now.

But lets not turn a help thread into a flame war.
