This is from the movie Nashville by Robert Altman, he always has some choice nudity in his movies most notably Short Cuts with Madeleine Stowe, Francis McDermott, Julianne Moore and even Huey Lewis gets in the action.

The lovely lady's name is Gwen Welles - FYI.

Great clip, great scene. The middle part is cut out - and pretty cool. It's where she leaves the stage to go join her promoter, and he tells her "They didn't come to see you sing, honey. They came to see you strip." Fun stuff.

I haven't been able to find the longer clip. It'd be great if somebody has it.

In the context of the movie, it's actually quite a sad scene as her dreams of country stardom come crashing down around her and she's reduced to just a naked body. Altman gets great pathos out of the situation.

This strikes me as a really classic ENF scene, that nobody ever talks about for some reason. A cute, vulnerable redhead all but forced to strip naked in the middle of a room full of lascivious men. I mean, how can you not love that? Taken out of the context of the film, I mean.

I remember seeing an article in a mid-70s Playboy with a picture from this scene -- it's what started my love of ENF/EUF.
