Very rare early Marilyn Monroe

In an effort to bring something new or different to OCC....
She was still known as Norma Jean, before her breakthrough as Marilyn Monroe. This was definately NOT mainstream, even though Norma Jean became MM. It didn't surface until well after her death. Its from a private collection. Many hopeful starlets performed in what were called "wigglers" that were seen in penny arcades, 5 to 10 cents per segment of movie, a buck or two for the whole thing. Those same starlets tried to get them destroyed if they made a major movie, usually threatening somebody with a major lawsuit. On the other hand, the quality was so bad that they often went unrecognized. They never showed full frontal nudity since they were available in the public arcades and carnivals. As a kid, I was always sneaking into the grown-ups areas. Monroe was an unattainable fantasy for male America back in the day. It is well documented that Monroe did several of these as Norma Jean, as the money was easy. Most were bought up by the studios, but a couple got away, like this one. Part One |
Thanks for the video and the background story.
That was a really nice post. |
Part Two - very rare early Marilyn Monroe

The final Marilyn Monroe segment. I hope somebody likes it as it was a pain to
capture and compress, yet keep the quality viewable. It's hard to believe I thought those giant panties were sexy when I was a kid. Final Part |

Hate to mention this...
but actually this actress is NOT Marilyn - if I remember the article correctly (I saw it on the web a couple of years ago) this was actually a different actress that resembled her. Apparently she made the film and someone later mis-identified her and added Marilyn's name to the credits at the beginning of the film. I think the article I read was in Playboy (yes, some of us actually DO read the articles). The actress was still alive and flattered that so many people had mistaken her for Marilyn. Apparently her real name was Arline Hunter - here's a site that discusses the film:
