The pool at the Mediterranian Games was the scene of an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction today when Italian Olympic swimmer Flavia Zoccari's costume burst open.

Zoccari, 22, was reportedly wearing a $650 top-of-the-line Jaked J01 swimsuit when it split at the back before her championship race in Italy.

A red-faced Zoccari burst into tears and fled after officials forced her to stand down from her race.

She later apologised for her inadvertent exposure.

Awesome. I mean, too bad about her being disqualified and all, but still... awesome.

Thanks

Wow...that is really weird. Luckily for her, it wasn't in the front.

I'd be interested in a more detailed story as to exactly what went on. A vid would help, but so would an article or something. Great post, and it sure looks like it was a very public moment. I feel for the girl, as it almost appeared that her incident was met with scorn rather than understanding and patience.
