Tips and Tricks

I'm soon to be off to France on my own for a few days. I'd like to take advantage of any candid chances in the town, topless on the beach, or anything that might crop up on the nearby nudist beaches.

Equipment available to me include:
  • D-SLR
  • N95
  • Sony Handycam

Any suggestions for how to make the most of my time/equipment?
One thing I've got to be careful with is battery life, none of these can have a couple of AAs changed and I'm probably not taking chargers...

a good way to save on battery power, is turn the viewing screen off, and look through the view finder. You will get long life from your batteries that way.

Yup, this is yet another reason a DSLR is 8 million times better than a compact camera! I think the screen could make sneeky videos on the beach a bit easier though...

I suppose i could always take the charger and sneek a charge in some cafe somewhere...

After a minor disaster last year I had to buy a new phone in Turkey - my usual problem is finding british adaptors!
