And lastly, here's a photo of one of the topless girls giving an interview... while still topless. It's from above/behind so don't see anything, but I think it's cool to see how confident and comfortable she is standing there talking topless to people with cameras. In the middle of NYC.

Anybody know what the hell they were protesting about? Not that it matters... :rolleyes:

I sorted through a bunch of blogs trying to look for photos, and I asked the same question myself. Their demands are listed specifically on their blog here: http://takebacknyu.com/page/3/

It's pretty much all over the place and runs the gamut from tuition stabilization, to fairer labor practices for university employees, budget transparency so students know where tuition is going, forming a committee make sure the university acts in a socially just and responsible way (I'm assuming "responsible" as defined by their own specific politics), severing all financial ties to what they call "war profiteers," gender equality, giving scholarships to Palestinian students, contributing financially to the rebuilding of the University of Gaza, and a bunch of other stuff.

I won't comment on whether or not any of this makes sense. There are plenty of youtube videos where you can hear their speeches first hand and decide for yourself.

Great pics. Los of mixed reactions among New Yorkers from what I read, as some labeled the girls "attention wh*r*s" and "immature". And then there where those that stopped their cars dead in the middle of the street to take pics, blocking traffic for quite a while.
