I worked really hard to recover the data from this girl's hard drive and I'd say my work paid off.

what's the best software to run?
I have been using many programs which pull up too much junk files that are nothing.

I primarily use VLC and Windows Media Player Classic. Zplayer is OK too.

I mean for data recovery.
The programs I use pull up too many useless images (icons, etc.)
