The days unread mesages still shows as unread the next day
 

Yesterday I logged out, today I logged in again, the messages from back to Oct 22 still shows as unread. I've tried deleting the OCC cookie, doesn't help.

I' know I can just mark all forums read every time I leave, but that's very annoying.

Those are probably showing up as "unread" beacuse you haven't read them, correct?

It's a feature not a bug. ;) The new system keeps track of your "read" and "unread" threads for the past 10 days. After that, older threads will be automatically marked as read.

Even if you logout or clear your cookies, this won't change the read/unread status.

You are correct, the only way to make all threads show up as "read" (without actually reading them all) is to select Mark Forums Read from the Quick Links menu.

Yes, I haven't read them. I do what I've always done, goto OCC and check unread messages since last and leave. Next time the same, check unread messages since last, except now there's unread messages from the past days, 10 days you say.

Well can't say I like this new feature, how about an option so I can choose the old (normal) way?
