Just to clarify the rules, are YouTube type files allowed to be posted directly to the video forums as opposed to the free links area? Most YouTube style video services put their watermark on the contributor's video.

You cannot post them here if they have a "YouTube" (or the name of any other site) watermark.

I don't recall any youtube files I downloaded having a watermark anyway.

You are right, the YouTube mark only appears when it is played on their site.
The FLV's I was thinking of when I inquired here had marks from the original source, not YouTube.
