Japanese ENF(s) Movie clip
 

I came across this clip while I was looking for some new movies by Go Nagai, the artist that drew the nude superheroine comic "Kekko Kamen." There are apparently some new Kekko Kamen live action movies being released, but so far none have really caught my interest.

But I discovered this clip from another new film called "Go Nagai's World - Maboroshi Panty vs. Henchin Pokoider." The first part of the movie is about a young superheroine similar to Kekko Kamen, and it's set at a mythical school like the Sparta Gakuen in the Kekko Kamen series. This clip is from immediately after the opening credits - apparently the student body is having severe problems with uniform malfunction.

This clip is in the Xvid codec, which is available from http://www.free-codecs.com if you don't have it and can't play the file. If you have a fast connection, download one of the K-Lite codec packs from the site and you'll be able to play pretty much anything.

Great clip but is there any reason that the sound isn't properly synched?

I installed the Xvid Codec but that didn't fix it.

I'm not sure what would cause that - it's OK on my system. A lot of these files use MP3 compression with a variable bit rate for their audio track, so if your audio codecs are off that could be causing it. Checking the file out with the Gspot utility from the free-codecs.com site should let you know if you need an updated audio codec or something.

I just checked the clip again, and the sound is badly out of sync - just pushed the wrong button in VirtualDub. This version should be better. Feel free to delete the old version from the forum.

BTW, any Japanese-speaking members out there? I'd like to try to subtitle some of these clips, but I'm not that good at transcribing what I hear. If I could see some of the dialogue written out, I could figure it out more easily.
