A challenge to all OCC members who have never posted
 

OCC is one of the best boards for amateur content thanks to the many posters who take the time to contribute pics and vids. Most of those who post do not do this for feedback, but do really appreciate recognition for the time that it takes to upload pics, split movies, post links, etc...

Right now we have almost 87,000 members and just over 250,000 posts. That means that on average, each member has posts (uploads or comments). We all know, however, that in reality, the bulk of the comments and posts are left by the same small percentage of people and that most members have never made any comments or uploads. That is fine as for many years I was one such person.

If you have not made any comments in any of the forums but still enjoy this board and these posts, however, I ask that you leave a meaningful comment in threads that you like (something more than just thanks . . . let the poster know, for example, what you like in his post). It doesn't take very long and it would help to ensure that we maintain the positive atmosphere and excellent content that we all come here for.

Feedback lets those who post know that their work is appreciated and encourages them to post more which benefits us all.

And before I step off of my soap-box . . . ladies, keep posing. ;)

Nice idea, stony, but i think many posters without one single post never look into feedback section. ;)

Yeah, I thought about that too a few minutes after I posted my challenge . . . I gave it a bit of time and then checked back two hours later. . . there were 8 views! :rolleyes: Oh well, if it gets one person to comment, then it served its purpose. :D

I would like to encourage all those that have never posted to post. If you are afraid of posting reposts, just stick to sites where you can easily find fresh content. Webshots and Flickr can both be searched for "most recently" added pics on any search term. You can bet that a pic that has just been added today is not going to be a repost. Tons of pics get added daily to those sites and others. Its all fresh.....

oh, and start leaving comments, too.......like Stony said.....
