REQ: UK Game for a Laugh skirt unweaving game
 

Hi everyone

Back in the 80s there was a sort of UK equivalent of Candid Camera called Game for a Laugh hosted by Jeremy Beadle. I remember one show where a lady was bought out in front of the audience to play a game where she had to answer questions to win a prize. The only catch was that while she was answering her skirt was being unravelled thread by thread by a sewing(?) machine on reverse.

I don't remember now how short her skirt was in the end but I do remember a glimpse of panties and a very embarrassed woman. I don't suppose anybody happens to have a copy or screencaps from it do they?

I Remember It!
 

I remember this and used to have it on video but it no longer plays. The girl was introduced as a typical audience member and said she was a secretary and then the man she was up against was looking at the audience and didn't see her woolen skirt was being unravelled until it came right off leaving her in her blue panties. Although she was a professional - you could see she was embarrassed by the attention and tried to pull her jumper down to cover herself.

came from the video called "Hometown Girls"

The man doing the asking in that video mentions something about "Game for A flash"
Is this a play on the title "Game for A laugh" or was there really something called "Game for a Flash"
(on video or tv or magazine)?

I didn't remember that it was Game For a Laugh, but man I remember that segment vividly. Something of a formative experience for wide-eyed little Arthur. I would KILL to see that again. As I recall, the skirt was totally gone by the end.

There never was anything called GAME FOR A FLASH. The guy said that on the video to give his show some sort of legitimacy so that the girl being conned into undressing thought it was for a family TV show. Course these girlsd are not chosen for their brain cells!

And Arthur is right - the skirt was pulled right off at the end.

Thank god some of the rest of you recall it and it wasn't just an invention of my dirty little mind! :D
