Oh, yeah, that's Aneta Corsaut. She played Helen Crump from 1964 to 1968 on The Andy Griffith Show. She was Sheriff Taylor's love interest and local school marm. Her character was killed off in one of the last episodes during a hostage standoff where Floyd the barber (aka Howard McNear) goes apeshit and tries to rob the town bank. It was Deputy Warren Ferguson (aka Jack Burns) who accidentally shot and fatally wounded Ms. Crump. It was rated by long-time viewers as one of the funniest episodes, though many failed to find the humor in the grisly neck wound sustained by the beloved teacher.

Thats some funny stuff right there...i was sittin here trying to figure out when they killed someone in Mayberry....till i scrolled to the bottom....funny, funny, funny.......but alas, i havent the slightest on who she is aswell :(
