Fremont Summer Solstice today
 

The Fremont Summer Solstice Parade comes one week after the World Naked Bike Ride, giving Seattle two naked rides back to back. This was the better of the two, as there were upwards to three hundred naked riders today opening the parade.

I tried to cover the ride from start to finish. It wasn't easy. I had a little better luck at the start of the parade where a group of girls were posing. Here they are. More pics will trickle out - I took loads but it will take time to sort them all :)

One of my main reasons for posting original pics here is to encourage others to do so. I really would like to see more threads like the campus bike ride thread, where everyone (like Kazesim) is digging for pics and lots of original material comes out.

I think the girl in the red hat is the same babe that I featured my WNBR post last week. Which brings up a question - how many of these women are hired, maybe paid to promote these events in order to sell tickets and keep the merchants happy? Not that I mind, but this babe was painted like the four others in the earlier group shots I posted (first set of ten). I got the sense the whole bunch were just hired props for promotional purposes.

love the yellow chick - one of two shaved kitties here. and the cowgirl with the thing tied around her thigh was sexy

also the unpainted girl with the 2 nip piercings and cutting scars on her forearms was, um, interesting.

i don't see too much to convince me that these folks are getting paid.

how is it that this stuff happens on the west coast?
