Help on 3gp files?

Can anyone explain to me what I need to do in order to play a 3gp file? It seems they are popping up more often and I'd sure like to be able to watch them. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the feedback, CP, but my QT won't play it either. Suppose I either need some sort of plug in or QT Pro.

Mine didnt work when i first tried to play 3GP files, then i found out i had an old version of Quicktime. Do a google search and download the latest free version. If that fails, then it might be a problem with the 3GP file. I once had one i couldn't view, and found out that it was infact a virus with a changed file extension.

Thanks, that did it. Don't know why I didn't think of that. I guess I figured since my PC was brand new I already had the latest stuff. Guess not. Thanks again.

For what it's worth... http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Their open source and cross platform media player works with most formats. It is totally free!
Its not fancy, but it works! Worth a look. It is my fall back player when the other players fail.
