Who is allowed to rate threads?
 

Hi,

I'm wondering who is allowed to rate a thread? Is it just OCC staff and moderators only or can anyone rate a thread? I've looked for an option to enable me to do this but without success. I guess now I am just curious.

Only One Click Pass members can rate threads. We used to let everyone, but the thread rating system was being abused. For example, people were giving good threads bad ratings just to be mean.

So the financial contributors who haven't made a single photo contribution can rate threads but members such as myself who post thousands of pics on the site can't. :confused:

It's your site though and you have the right to set the rules. I fully respect your decision but I guess I won't be contributing anymore pics.

WHOA! WAIT! WHAT?!? I just want to step in here for a second and say that I see absolutely no connection between contributing pics and having the ability to rate threads. To be completely honest, the thread ratings mean nothing in the long run. What really counts here at OCC are positive written responses and view counts. Heck, some people don't even know how to use the rating system. I see 1 and 2 star ratings on threads that have positive responses all the time.

Anyway, please reconsider. I've enjoyed your posts so far.

A little piece of advice, Potsdamer Platz. You might want to try just enjoying OCC and try to fit in with the family type atmosphere we have here. It makes it more fun when people don't gripe about stuff here. In fact, it's very much frowned upon. You have posted some pretty bad ass pics so far in your short time here, but believe me there's plenty of us here who have posted thousands of pics to your hundred or so.

I hope you don't see this as criticism, but instead just an introduction to how OCC is. And I hope you decide to stay. Those pics you posted yesterday in the HC section of that cute ass brunette were awesome and I'd love to see more where that came from.

Don't worry fango, - my friend I am coming out of self-imposed retirement to help re-start the "All New Potty Shots" thread. I have over 1,000+ photographs to contribute towards the rebuilding of the new thread.
