Need some help here
 

First of all let me say, Happy New Year to everone at OCC! Also, my apologies for not having posted much lately. I just got a new PC and haven't transfered over anything, plus I've been spending more time playing games. :o I do want to comment on the awesome pics that have come in over the past couple of weeks also. Fantastic job to all who have contributed!

Now to my question. I am thinking of purchasing a 'Rapidshare' account but, in order to do so, you have to go thru 'PayPal'. I would like to know if it costs anything to get a PayPal account? I am trying to go thru the Rapishare site and it won't give you an amount, other than what it costs for Rapidshare, until you enter your CC information.

I'd appreciate any feedback, especially from those who have used Paypal. I guess I just want to try and figure out if it's worth it to me.

It's free to open a paypal account, the only times they charge is when you accept payment from someone or when you remove money from the paypal account to your bank account.

Rapidshare has done lots of changes lately, and at the moment, you can pay for an account, and you get unlimited downloads for the given period of time. You can also use download managers with a premium account, which comes in very useful, and you can download 3 videos at any one time. If you get an account with them, you can upload items using your premium account, and they will not get deleted until unless you close your account. Each time anything is downloaded, that you have posted, you gain points, which can be then converted into longer period of time that the account stays active.

cool, well if you do sign up, heres a search engine for finding clip's. You can also adjust your setting for rapidshare once you have an account, so that you can just right click and save target as, on the link. If you need help with that, just send me a private message and i'll help you sort it out.
