Wanted to start the Fantasy Fest 2025 off with something. Shocked there is no thread for this

Fantasy Fest is not what it used to be. It is still crowded but limited nudity compared to before COVID years. Nowadays, the crowd is mostly either swingers who hide behind the shadows and don't care about Fantasy Fest or music festival type of people who dresses colorful. The exhibitionist nature of Fantasy Fest is fading out. Most of the photographers didn't even bother too go there this year.

Yeah I noticed this too. I feel like its part of a larger trend we are seeing nationwide. People are more socially conservative, especially when it comes to nudity. The 30 and 40 age range is largely absent. Also there are way less straight couples who partake in erotic and nude events. Which is baffling to me.

PNW

Not in the NW. The naked bike ride in Portland still gets an absurd turnout, thousands and thousands of people. Issue is it is very much different than anywhere else. Like photography is frowned upon, and you can literally watch people knock cameras out of peoples hands if they attempt to try. I mean you can take a photo if you want, but of yourself, of the general public you might find yourself getting attacked from all angles. It is weird though, because Portland to Seattle is only 3 hours away, and the enviroment in Seattle is entirely different. Photographers everywhere.

Many/most people in the NW are themselves or descendants of people originally from the east. They fled west and finally had to stop short of falling into the ocean. That is why they are "different".:D

I'm in San Francisco, a place with probably the highest concentration of public nudity of any place in America. I went down to the Castro Halloween event this year and ShyGothExhib was walking around totally nude. Pretty normal stuff for SF but definitely not the rest of the country. For public nudity its SF, Portland and to a lesser extent Seattle and that's basically it. Even when fantasy Fest was at full steam it was still pretty tame compared to what we get into around here. I have seen some WILD shit.
