London Strip Clubs
I have very fond memories of attending the strip clubs in London in the 1970s. I have always been a sex maniac at heart and the thought of slipping into the strip clubs in London in those days was magnetic. The girls were adventurous, to say the least and I was always eager to see what they would do. They generally did a session with some interesting music and some nice costumes. I remember one girl doing a dance to The Doors - Riders on the Storm. She was cute with a hairy pussy but plenty of c*nt to see as well. From memory, the girls moved quickly around neighbouring Clubs, so you could pick up their acts elsewhere, if you were that way inclined. |

I remember one called the Windmilll. I once got a handjob from one of the very pretty dancers while standing in my overcoat, drinking a beer, watching the show from a corner in front of a talll bar table that gave us ‘some’ privacy. She had her hand in my pants and I was massaging and groping her ass cheeks. So hot! It was her wonderful, naughty idea and she took the lead.

So, in the 1970s I tried several Soho strip clubs. I finally settled on the Carnival Club on Old Compton Street as my "go to" club.
The acts at Paul Raymond's Revue Bar were more, and better, choreographed. And I always enjoyed his shows. But the Revue Bar was more expensive. Moreover, the way the Revue Bar was set up, it was impossible to enjoy a discreet wank. However, I did manage a discreet wank at the Carnival Club a couple of times. If I had been caught, I would have been thrown out, but I wasn't. And at some of the seedier clubs, I was able to openly wank. Watching a woman disrobe and then dance naked, showing off her body while I masturbate has always been at the top of my list of sexual pleasures. Thru the 1970s and well into the 1980s I was an attendee at the Carnival Club. It's so sad that it has gone. |
I have just read an article about the Carnival Club. It certainly brought back some memories.
There were certain women that you would hang out with because they actually put on a good show and displayed some personality (and other things, of course). I recall that the audience was not particularly animated (most of the time), and there was the occasional person who slipped away. They must have been busting to relieve themselves. The article detailed a woman who stripped down, lay on the stage and started masturbating. The curtains closed and she was not seen again by the author. All good stuff. |

I came up to London in the early 1970s and lived very close to Soho. Despite, walking past Paul Raymond"s Revue Bar on numerous occasions, I never went in there or any of the other strip clubs in the area.
However, I did go and see Raymond's stage show, Pyjama Tops at the Whitehall Theatre with my girlfriend. I can't remember much about it, except there was a glass fronted swimming pool in which the female members of the cast swam naked. My girlfriend, who was a bit of an exhibitionist herself, enjoyed seeing the naked women almost as much as I did. She'd have loved to get up there naked herself and do a couple of lengths of the pool in front of the audience. |
