I've fucked a lot of women throughout my life, and they all had full, thick muffs until the 90's. My first wife never shaved hers off. Never even occurred to either one of us to cut it. Second wife has always kept her dark blond muff, although she trims it a little when she's playing. I had a redheaded girlfriend between marriages for a while. She had a full-on, gorgeous tangerine colored muff . . . about half the time. Once in a while I'd flip her skirt up and it'd be completely gone, but it grew back quickly. We were swingers for about 20 years starting around 2000. I saw the pussies of dozens of women from their 30s through their 60s during that time. The young ones were all bald. The older women began to show a few muffs, until you got into the mature group where they were about 80/20, bald/nicely furred. Of course they were all very sexually active. The average mature housewife who isn't doing much sexually probably isn't really concerned about trimming the shrubbery. |
Modern times
All my past girlfriends and wives were hairy with light trimming. I suggested going bald to my current wife about 5 years ago. I was surprized how much she loved it. She now shaves bald without any prompt from me. I now do it too.

All of the women I’ve been with except for one had shaved pubes- though most of them eventually grew out either full bush or trimmed. The only woman I was with that had hair at the start was my friend who was a smoking hot redhead and she had a red landing strip.

Demographic matters
Growing up in the 60 / 70s the harry muff was just what ya got…. Into the 80s the hair on their head got much bigger, while I did see some trimming of the pubes it was mostly to the bikini line more that fashion trend.
Into the 90 is where I first encountered the bald beauties for the first time and has been the majority throughout the 2000’s |

Someone born after 1980 might have potentially never personally encountered a pussy that wasn't at least partially shaven. As a Gen Xer, that was something I rarely saw until I was a full-grown adult. For a Boomer, a shaven pussy is something they might have not even personally encountered until they were middle-aged. |
All bushes
Every single woman I have had sex with has had a bush.
I'm late 50's now, so all the women I grew up peeking at had bushes (1970s). All the women I had sex with in the 1980's and early 1990's were hairy too. They all trimmed their bush to a tidy triangle above the pubis, and their outer labia were covered with pubic hair. I was married in the early 1990's (1991), so that's that. She's always maintained pubic hair. She considered it a rite of passage to "look like the older girls" that she saw in the locker room growing up. If I can convince my wife to swing/swap partners, there is a possibility I will be with a shaved woman. I just do prefer a woman with her natural pubic hair. We've gone to a nude beach a couple hours from us (Gunnison Beach at Sandy Hook park in NJ). My wife is not the only one with a bush, I'd say it's about 50/50, with the younger generation mostly shaved. Although I've seen more girls in their 20's with pubic hair than I would have thought. I think beaches like this are more variety in grooming than you might see at a nudist resort. |
My recollection is that before around 2000 most did, usually trimmed. After 2000, the fashion was more heavily trimmed down to nothing, but not usually completely bare in the women I met. Perhaps the younger generation were more ruthless.
I’ve always found a well-trimmed bush the most exciting, although I hate having to extract pubic hair from my tongue or teeth. |
