Fremont 2025

Gonna be cold. It’s amazing how much bad luck we have had in recent years. Still will be a solid turnout, but 2 days later it will be 78, whereas at ride time it’s like 55 and cloudy w possible rain. Will be there and post. Figure someone needs to make the initial post.

Sadly... Low 60' clouded... and a shorter route...

Let's hope that they will show up and brave the elements.

🤞 🤞 🤞

Shorter route than last 3 years? Last 3 years it’s been absolutely tiny. Like 3-5 minutes long so people do loops. Don’t tell me they made it shorter than that lol

It will be the same route as the past three years.

Both the Solstice Fair and the parade were significantly down-sized when they came back after Covid, which has meant a much shorter route for the cyclists.

They did like 10 loops today, basically kept doing loops until the actual parade caught up to them. Would say it was 30 minutes of riding around.

Loops

I did one. Had freezing extremities and like burning nipples. We had to stop because my wife’s nipples burned so bad she couldn’t continue. 46 is tough without a whiskey blanket

It was a bit nippy and moist in Seattle today but there was a good turnout for the Solstice celebration

It was a huge asset to have a covered site in Gasworks Park to paint up and avoid rain and wind.
