Casual nudity
 

How common is casual nudity at home? I always heard that in Europe it's pretty common and many people prefer to sleep naked without caring if anyone would walk in on them or not

While I was living with my parents, i couldn't have imagined sleeping naked, roaming around naked or bathing without locking the bathroom door.

When I had kids at home it was not common however we would walk from the bedroom to the bathroom naked and back have slept naked my whole life and am naked around the house all the time now with our kids at home…

Nudity within our own family is common, at home but also nude beaches and sauna.
Within the larger family, we go to nude beaches and sauna with my wife's sister and her family.
So no secrets there. Kids also still enjoy it as teenagers.
With the step-part of the family and with my part of the family, no nude escapades.

Nudity wasn't common when I grew up. I never saw a completely naked woman in real life until I was a teenager.

Back then I thought this was normal, but now I know most people in my country are far more relaxed about nudity.

During my first serious relationship, we moved to a city on the opposite side of the country. Every month, we stayed at my in-laws’ house. They weren't nudists, but it was completely normal to undress in the bedroom and walk completely naked to the bathroom to take a shower, then dry off and walk completely naked to the bedroom. For me this was very strange, but in hindsight this is a far more healthy way to bring up your children than my parents did.

For them it was completely non-sexual.

For me it was different sometimes, but I got used to it.

One of the hottest things that happened was when my girlfriend felt a little ill one day. She came out of bed very late that day. I remember playing a board game with the brother of my girlfriend, her sister, and her boyfriend. Here parents were there too, but I don't remember what they were doing. Suddenly my girlfriend came downstairs wearing nothing at all. She said she wanted to take a shower but there were no clean towels. Everybody reacted like this was completely normal. No one asked why she was naked or made any comment about it. Her mom asked her questions about how she felt, and how she slept, and if it was getting worse, and if she was taking her pills, etc. And then her mom went to fetch towels. It was very weird to see her standing naked in a room with her family around. It was weird, but HOT! :p
