End of topless sunbathing
 

So I'm reminded of this video once more https://www.dumpert.nl/item/100039021_8d92d1fd It really is one of the greatest ones I've seen if seeing tits of ordinary women topping up their tan is your thing. I was wondering if anyone knows of any others, likely from around 2000, of a similar calibre?

Was discussing topless sunbathing with a few friends over the holidays. One of the female friends who is Spanish suggested that topless sunbathing was common over there with most normal women with their tits out. My wife suggested she went back and checked as it might have been last time she was there but not these days. So sad.

Pick your beach
 

You really need to pick your beach. In Spain there are still topless beaches, but not as common as in the past where almost every woman would go topless and the majority would be comfortable walking around so. Some have mentioned that the movement to thongs may be a step towards topless again - let's hope

All depends on where you go, who is with you and how many others are topless.
My wife wouldn't have an issue removing her top at a more quiet beach. Even with others joining like her sister's familie or (some) of our friends. Even a fun picture would be allowed.
But on more crowded beaches with lots of mobile phones or with some other friends (or her step family), her top will stay on. Although at 1 time she and her sister have been considering going topless in front of their stepdad (just for the kick of it and see his reaction), but ultimately decided not to do so (to much regret of my BIL and myself). Though their bikinis were also pretty revealing.

My wife is the same. She can be convinced to shed her top (and even her bottoms) at a beach if very few people are around, or very far apart. What I noticed though is that she would stay topless throughout the day once she is topless, even if the beach starts to fill up with people when normally, she wouldn't go topless because too many people around. I don't know if it's because she forgets she's topless or what but it's definitely an observation over several occasions.

Sounds familiar. I think it's because after a while, one doesn't even notice anymore that one is topless/naked.
Reminds me of that 1st time my wife went naked at the sauna.
While changing out of her clothes, an older gentleman came back to get something in his locker.
She was just about to remove her bra. Then she pretended to look for something in her bag till he was gone.
It was kinda funny to watch, and when I asked her about it she said "I was not going to undress in front of that old guy".
Now after the first round in the sauna she felt already so comfortable, she tightened her bathrobe just loosely resulting her breasts and pussy coming into view on occasion.
After the 2nd round in the sauna, she didn't even bother to wear a bathrobe and walked around naked most of the time.

Later that day, she even had a 5m conversation with that same old guy from earlier while looking at some magazines the sauna complex provides. T

But when everybody around you is naked, often one doesn't even notice yet another naked body or ones own body being exposed to yet another person.
However that only works when more people around you are topless or naked.

Not always; but acclimatization can lead to decreased self-consciousness.

It's like the first time my wife and I went to a nudist BnB for 3 days. Robes were also available there; and my wife was dead set on wearing it whenever around other people. Which she did that entire evening.

The next day we spent most of our time at the other end of the property sunbathing naked. As the hours went by, she became more and more acclimated to staying naked. When we proceeded back to the house later that day, where the other guests were congregating naked, she'd loss any inclination to cover back up. The fact that everyone else was also naked - and that she was fully acclimated to being completely naked - had made her less self-aware of people looking at her naked body. She was actually surprised at how comfortable she was socializing naked for the rest of our stay.

I suppose it works the same way where any kind of nudity is involved. But, if for example the other women at the BnB had covered up, my wife would have quite certainly decided to put her robe back on. Because no matter how acclimated she'd been; seeing the other women covered up would have made her conscious of her own nudity, thereby prompting her to hide.

That's something I've noticed as well.

My girlfriend would never go topless when there is no one else topless. But when another girl is topless she would go topless too, and even when the other girl leaves or covers up she would stay topless. And even better: once she has been topless at a certain place, she will go topless on the subsequent days as well, even when it means she is the only one topless or the first to be topless on that day.

I think she is afraid to break any unwritten rules about toplessness at a certain place. And she is afraid of getting negative comments or being asked by the hotel staff to cover up.

So have you been on a beach with you wife and her fiends topless! If so I need to go on holiday wit you :):)

Wife + sister + niece all naked at beach & sauna : yes
Wife + friend naked at sauna : yes
Wife + friend topless at beach: yes

But all platonic and not erotic at all to be honest.
The more topless and naked people you see, the less it is exciting. It becomes common. A women wearing a sexy bikini often is more erotic than seeing that same women naked.

My wife always like to keep some distance at the topless beach; but if she sees other women topless from afar, she is easily convinced to drop the top. She needs that visual confirmation that her tits won't be the only ones out.

If she's been topless for a while, it soon won't matter what everyone else is doing. Even if the other topless women leave, or non-topless women sit nearby. She's stopped paying attention to what other people are doing and is feeling comfortable.
