Timed Out Freezing When Posting

Hi. Recently I have encountered difficulty in actually uploading anything on here (usually posting on threads). A fortnight ago I tried to upload a post, only for it to dawdle for ages and then "Time Out" on me. That day it wouldn't resume for the rest of that day and I had to try again the next day. I've tried uploading on a post today and it has done the same trick again, though this time I eventually succeeded after 15 mins. Is it just me this has happened to or has it happened to anyone else on here? Thought I'd let OCC know, just in case it's a site issue.
Regards, Bounci

This seems to be an intermittent issue that we are working on getting fixed.
Please be patient and keep trying.

Thanks

I've been having that problem for the past few days. It seems as though you're timed out and what you were uploading didn't work, but if you go and look it actually uploaded. This also happens with making posts. I've also had some trouble doing searches, among other things

Do you know when this problem might get resolved? Also, if I click on the link to see what posts a person has made, it just loads and loads but never comes up. If I do an advanced search by word it doesn't work either. There are also many other oddities that make it a little hard to use the site. This kinda thing happened a while back but it finally went to back normal. When I make this post, it will load and load as if the post wasn't made, but if I go to the index I'll see that it was.

Right_In_There,
This doesn't seem to be a widespread problem at the moment.
What sort of device and browser are you using to access our site?

I'm on a laptop with Windows 8. This problem just started about a week ago. I've had this problem before on here and I'm not really having problems with any other sites

You might try clearing your browser's cache and/or visiting our site with a different browser to see if that helps.

I tried Microsoft Edge instead of Chrome and it works fine. I have no idea why
