2024 WNBR videos
 

i have been slow getting pictures and videos gathered together from the August 24, 2034 Philly naked bike ride.... but i am afraid mine are not going to be as good this year as last. i didn't take many straight snapshots, figuring i could grab frames from videos. and then several of my camera's had issues that i didn't identify until after the ride was over. its a shame....... because this year was AWESOME :).


i appear to have about two hours of ride footage from a GoPro Fusion camera (their first 360 camera, which in theory can record 360-degrees at 8k.). i apparently got a bunch of gunk on the lens so it didn;t shoot crystal clear in every direction... but still, there should be SOME good stuff in there.

here is a random minute that i grabbed from the middle of one of the 2 one-hour clips. (it is a pain-in-the-ass to process these so that they can be seen... so its going to take a while still to get them all).

the clip i uploaded here is recorded with "over-capture" which means you turn the 360-view into a regular video by choosing points-of-focus after the fact from the 360 video. I am still learning how to do this in a smooth presentable way.

1. on youtue: https://youtu.be/GZrreKg6kvY the whole reason i am trying youtube this year is that they have 360-view campability. we will see ho long it takes for this to get deleted? also ...you need to force youtube to show it at 4k--otherwise they will show it at supper-compressed. youtube also doesn't go all the way up to 8k)
2. vimeo: https://vimeo.com/1004696339. all my videos on vimeo have been blocked in the past, usually because of "copyright violations" for random songs playing in the background. Vimeo lets you go all the way up to 8k... if the video stays visible

... and.... i assume the 360-view won't work here, but i might as well try :)

another short test clip. this one is from a security cam strapped to the back of my bike during the ride. it took (4 or 5 hours of) one-minute clips. I added some pro-environment, pro-bike rah-rah to the beginning and end of the video... i believe that stuff; but i added it to the video to try to make it appear less gratuitous and hopefully less likely that youtube would yank the vid?

the video is also on youtube, vimeo and xfeed... we'll see how long it lasts?

a couple of minutes at the beginning of the 2024 Philly ride. This is an overcap from a GoPro Fusion 360-view camera strapped to the back seat of my tandem bike. ...... the chick in sunglasses in the middle of this clip seeing all the cameras strapped to my bike and laughing out loud ;)

for this part i left my bike (with the camera running) when i went to drop my cooler off in my car.

I like it when the video tells a story :)

this one is from a security camera that takes fairly mediocre footage... but it has a topless cutie painting someone to the far right of the frame, a delicious plump bottom in the middle of the frame, and stealing the show, a tattooed cutie on stage left looking shy as she steals herself to peel off her top and go topless :).

the creeper dude swooping in for his snapshots only minorly mars the ambiance

footage of the begging of philly 2024 taken with a mediocre camera

it starts when i have finished loading up my bike, i leave for a few minutes in the middle to drop my cooler off at my car, and it ends when i drop my bike to go help a ride warden that a car driver started to push around. (the ride warden is probably 110 pounds soaking wet)
