Everything I write gets held in moderation
 

When I posted to this forum, my posts were held in moderation, but I assumed that was normal for this forum. But my replies to posts in other forums are also held in moderation. I'm a paid user, and AFAIK I've never strayed close to breaking the site rules. Any idea what's up? Thanks!

It's normal for everyone's first 12 posts to be held for moderators to approve them. I know it's annoying but it is effective at keeping spammers from wreaking havoc here.

aha thanks! Should I already have known this? I tried looking in various FAQs to see if something like this was done but I didn't find it.
