Big Nude Boat Cruise: Looking for tips and experiences.

I recently booked us for the 2025 Big Nude Boat cruise and, since we've never been on one (or any cruise for that matter), I'm just looking for tips, experiences, caveats from those of you who've been on one before. We're nudists and have traveled somewhat extensively to nudist (and lifestyle) venues, so that aspect is no big deal. But I'm just wondering about things like what sort of vibe is it (mellow, party, a mix of the two and you find your own vibe?) and what kind of tips do you have. We generally like a party mix with boozing and hanging out with other couples/making new friends. That said, we're not looking to swing as we get enough of that in Puerto Morelos. Any tips?

Oh yeah, is the booze package worth it? On vacations like this, we like to drink 6-8 drinks throughout the day...

I've not been on a nude cruise, but have been on several regular cruises. We always get the drink package...it's well worth it. We figured it out once and as I remember if you drink over 4 or 5 drinks a day per person it's definitely worth it. We also pay the gratuities up front as well....it saves lots of time and helps you budget your money so you don't have any surprises at the end of the cruise. Hope this helps.

We went last year and have reservations this year. The drink package seems awfully expensive to us as it is over 109$ a day each. Our drinks are similar in number to yours. There is a forum under bare necessities you must get approval for (info included when you book but must look for it as they ask info when you sign up).
The package was discussed there among other topics. Lots of ports so we figure we’ll spend the $’s on drinks in port either way so for us it is not deemed worthy and plan to purchase on board too.
(We might break even if purchased but feel we’d HAVE to drink a lot to make it worth while as some days we may just feel like one or two…). Good luck

The Bare Necessities forum is bareharbor.com. Once you have booked at least one cruise with them you can sign up for an account there. There is a whole thread about the drink package being ridiculously expensive on Norwegian. We never get the package anyway. Remember even days where you are ashore all day you are still paying for all those drinks you won't be having.

We've been on 7 of their cruises and there is no public swinging or play rooms like there is on Bliss Cruises. Other than that, it is a pretty fun crowd. Probably a mix between mellow and party crowds as well as younger and older. It does skew more towards the older crowd, as do lots of nudist resorts that aren't lifestyle. But they still had their fair share of younger crowd as well. Lots of nudity during the day up at the pool or on nude shore excursions, but surprisingly enough not as much at night. This year there were deck parties every night and that is where the younger and more party inclined were at night (and probably where most of the nudity was at night, too).

What they lack in the lifestyle area they make up for in the nude freedom area... You can be nude anywhere on the ship except the main dining room and specialty restaurants so if you've ever wanted to try something different like bowling nude or going to the casino nude, this is your chance.

We have a cabin for next year but have to sell it due to other commitments. Ironically, even though we are not into the lifestyle, we are considering trying our first Bliss Cruise in its place. The cruise is a little shorter and a little later in the year which works out for us.

My wife and I went on the Norwegian Pearl's Adult Only limited cruise. After night fall, things got real interesting and the real fun began. Shared my wife several times and she had fun. Maybe a little too much fun.
