So, to my untrained eye, the text looked like this. For the first word, first the letter alif (i.e., a) ﺍ, then the letter nun (i.e., n) in its initial position form ﻧ, then the letter ta (i.e., t) in its medial form ﺒ, and finally nun again in its final form ﻦ. The second word, however, is where I had some problem. The first letter is qaf (i.e., q), in the initial position form ﻗ. However, I can't really be sure of the next letter. The one that looks the closest to me is dal (i.e., d) in the final position form ﺪ, but it does not look exactly like the one in the tattoo. Nonetheless, I put these letters into Google Translate, and I found what you see here. |
Actually, the last letter could be an m in some unusual script, tattooed as if it were in its isolated form. However, Google Translate still gives "You stink" as meaning.

Thanks!

The girl seams to have a nice body, but this Tattoo is unbeleaveable. I don´t know if the Translation is right, because the right word looks different. Maybe it is not the right translation. I hope, someone can give some help! Simon:cool: |
If you check the other image, you'll see that the problem is rather the last character of the second word (that is, the first from the left).
Anyway, there could be many explanations. If the meaning is the right one, a possibility is that the lady maybe thought these characters meant something else, and the tattoo artist knew no better. Another explanation could be that the tattoo artist tricked the lady, and tattooed an insulting sentence, for some unknown reason. All this also assumes that the language is Arabic, but there are many other languages that use the Arabic alphabet but are different (after all, there are also very many languages that use the Latin alphabet and have nothing to do with English). So maybe the correct meaning is something completely different in another language. And then there is still the question of the last letter. So, who knows?! |
So, who knows?!

How about this one. It looks more stylized than actual characters.
