Generative AI and Photoshop: taking requests

(Mods – if this is in the wrong place, please move it. Thanks!)

Photoshop's latest beta release now incorporates generative AI tools. This means you can make a selection on a photo and ask it to add … anything.

I've been testing it out with some shots of my girlfriend and WOW, the results are exciting. Stockings? No problem. Boots? Sure. A cute little miniskirt? Yup. Attached is the super quick and dirty test I did.

Now, it has limitations and because it's in beta, things go wrong sometimes. You also can't do anything overtly sexual – it won't generate imagery of a vibrator or nudity. It refused to render "fishnets". It'll also sometimes stall on an image that it thinks contains nudity.

But it's a great thing to play with. So I'm taking requests. If you've got a shot of your g/f, partner, wife, etc. and you'd like a little enhancement (stockings? boots? bikini top? lace? leather? pvc? lingerie? hair extensions? naughty clothes?) post it here and I'll do my best to serve it up!

Will it take a nude photo and add a really realistic bikini to the person? I had some great nude beach shots of my wife and sometimes I forget to take the clothed or bikini version of the pose/shot I like to have for contrast.

I’ve had limited luck with using the term ‘bikini’, though adding fabric and materials hasn’t been an issue at all. Often, it’s about circumventing the weird restraints Adobe had put in. Instead of saying ‘fishnet’, saying ‘wide mesh’ and so on.

Post a photo and I’ll see what I can do!

These violate forum rules:

17. DO NOT post or request photoshop enhanced "X-ray" style photos.
18. DO NOT post or request photoshop / edited fake photos.

We may need to revisit the rules. I'll check with my fellow mods and our Admin.

Appreciate that. I read the rules and wondered if those would apply. I also know this is subject to interpretation and the rules exist for a reason so I'm happy abide with the mod and admin decision!

These rules were established before AI. And it was possible to detect, more or less easily, fake photos on the forum. When I see the work of morellius I am amazed by the realism of the AI. I believe photos edited with AI will be undetectable. When I see some photos on this forum showing perfect skin, I think AI is already spreading here.
And as rule 18 cannot be checked, it is not a rule anymore, it is only a wish or an advice.
I don't know how mods will manage with this. Maybe a solution could be to open some threads dedicated to AI ?

dont do this. so many reasons not to have AI generated images here

Just talking (writing) out loud here:

My kink is women in sexy lingerie, revealing clothing and scandalous outfits. My g/f is happy to dress up but our budget means that we can't buy every naughty outfit we want.

I showed my g/f some AI enhanced images and she was really into it (some of the other ones are much more detailed and extensive. I took one photo and added wet-look stockings, a leather midriff corset, a microskirt, BDSM-inspired choker, a metallic thong, chain jewellery etc. Super, super hot. I might be convinced to share. ;) ).

I work in Photoshop a lot and know it really well. That got me thinking that other members of the forum here might be interested in having their images enhanced as well.

I guess if I really critically examine it, an AI-enhanced image is more like art than it is a photo.

And maybe this isn't the right forum or place for art, and that's ok.
