Massive amount of “invalid” albums?

Hi folks. Been on the site for a while (although I very infrequently post or make my presence none other than to thank), and I noticed today when I went to look through albums for the first time in a few months that almost the entire first page of “all albums” lead to the dreaded “invalid album” page. Is there a reason for this? I know from looking back a few pages here that the policy has been to purge albums that contain any photos in violation due to the number of photos the mod team would have to sort through, but I figured I’d come and ask here and find out if there’s any other explanation for the massive number of missing albums. Cheers.

I just checked and all the albums seem to be ok. Can you post a link to one that isn't working for you?

I'll have to pass this on to Admin, they look ok to me.

Sometimes albums don't show up if you are not "friends" with them, so to speak. A couple of times over the years I have had that happen, but usually they are okay to view. Maybe try making a "Friend Request" to whiteboy and see if this clears up the problem. Good luck.

So I guess this answers my question.

I had a private album of "random" pics and I accidentally uploaded a picture of Jenny Scordamaglia, I see that album has been deleted. Which sucks but rules are rules and I'll make a point to stay within them when using albums.

I was the one that deleted the album. It contained a lot more than one pic that shouldn't be here. Can I ask you go through the rest of your albums and delete ones that are non amateur, pro & the ones including golden showers & transvestite pics as they are not allowed here either.

Thanks.

I usually leave a comment under a photo in an album if I see, for example, they are watermarked, or if a full name has been accidently left up there to give the member a chance to remove it themselves and to check their album for other pics. I find it is more helpful that way than just deleting an album where all photos are lost. Even a private message to the individual might be helpful, as some may not know just why their albums have disappeared. Just a thought.

Thanks for the feedback Bounci, I try to be fair with regard to removing posts. In this instance the album in question contained primarily either non amateur or images outwith the forum rules.

At present I'd like to think we are beginning to return to the OCC of old, and all the current working moderators are pretty fair with removals also. The vast majority we remove come from requests from users who own the image.

Also, I replaced my avatar, which was of a professional model to a picture of a woman's vagina.
