Reasons Women Go Nude
 

I have been wondering for a while why women - especially solo women - go to nude beaches?? I have seen women very happily wandering around nude by themselves, and then others who are shy at first and then really get into it. But they went to a nude beach alone so they clearly wanted to do it.

Do some women just like the thrill of random people seeing their boobs and pussy?

My wife wants to go…. I think she is curious and just happy to show off. I don’t know.

I'm not sure about all women but I know my wife liked being seen nude although she never admitted it. Our first time at a nude beach she did not get naked right away. It was my idea to go. Eventually she got naked and the first man to approach us was the guy collecting fees. He was dressed and she had a normal conversation with him. A bit later some dude looking to see women close up pretended to be cleaning up the beach. We were getting a kick out of watching him. As he approached I talked her into spreading her legs a bit and he got a nice look. She tried to hand him some trash and he took it but did not say anything. She took a walk to the water and was stopped by around 5 dressed Mexican guys and she stopped to talk to them. Overall, dozens of guys saw her naked. I dont think theres much to read into here about they fact they go alone, in fact, the simple fact they are alone means they dont have anything to 'hide'/protect from friends etc...

Most of these solo women are IMHO genuine nudists who just want to be able to tan/swim naked - and be left alone doing so.

Then you have "bucket listers" who just want the experience of being naked "out in the open" so they can claim they "did it." They're typically naked for only a short time or away from the crowd. They can be "funny" to watch, especially as they try to figure out what to take off, when to take it off, and where to be naked.

"True exhibitionists" in my experience are far less common. They tend to travel in packs or with a male anyways for "safety reasons."

I think Shihoin has come close to the truth (based on my experience and conversations with a number of such women). I would add: probably for the same sorts of reasons that men do naturist/nudist things. Swimming without even an unrestrictive figure-hugging swimsuit can be an amazing (non-sexual) experience. As is the feel of the warm sun and breeze on your skin. Women at genuine naturist clubs report that men tend to be better behaved towards them, than at eg a clothed event.

I would not have believed the official naturist narrative that genuine naturism is not sexual until I experienced it myself. Note my use of the term "genuine naturists" not those who are ("also") swingers or doggers. Can't believe a man wouldn't have a hard-on with all these real fully-naked women, in the flesh, so close to them? Look at the vast majority of the voyeured and posed photos of naturist men with naturist women - flaccid.

I wonder if there is a certain amount of porn-influenced fantasy/wishful thinking going on in some people's minds - this is a porn site so we might be thinking in "porn-mode".

100%. After all this is a voyeur/exhibitionist site; not a nudist one. People come here for a thrill or a fapping experience.

To be honest, I probably have contributed to some of these myths about social nudism. But the random moments of "naughtiness" I've described in my posts are actually very rare and short-lived. There are by no means a depiction of what our nudist life is all about.

My average day at a resort with my wife might be interesting to a nudist on a nudist forum; but too boring for OCC. Sure; my wife will spend the day with me at the resort, where anyone can see her completely naked. But the people there are so used to naked people that she just sort of "blends in" and get paid little attention; even when she socializes with other naked people. People are not walking around with boners while staring at her cookie. It just doesn't happen.

We are nudists as well and not only doesn’t the staring happen, but it would be an express ticket to getting thrown out and blacklisted permanently. We have our “naughty” fun at the nudist resort, too, but definitely wait until we are alone behind closed doors.

As to why single women would do it - the same as single men or couples. It is actually a ton of fun running around naked, and it isn’t about sex. You just have to try it to understand.
