Had another thread closed

Why was my ENF/EUF Poll thread closed? Every single photo was from either an ENF scene, or an EUF scene. I'm extremely confused by all the recent thread closures, and post removals.

Hi Lonmol,

Thanks for all of your contributions. It looks like a few poll-type threads were closed. I think (and I'm, speculating) they were closed because no photos were included. They looked like general polls. (For example: "Favorite underwear fabric for an EUF scene?") Moderation over the past few years has frowned on short comments, conversation, and questions. I think the intent has been to steer people toward the "thanks" button and generate more content in posts.

While I tend to favor conversation and use of the thanks button, I'm not moderating much these days.

Moderating takes a lot of time and can feel very frustrating. It's all volunteer time. I'm grateful to our more active mods at this forum. It's a tough balance. All of that said, I don't think this is the right forum for those sorts of polls. Although I did not delete them, I support the moderator's decision in this instance.

Cheers.

Well, that's not really the best example, dognheat. That was a multi part poll which was deleted BEFORE I had a chance to post any photos to it. Not a big deal, really. The ones that bother me are the threads that suddenly get locked after 10 or 15 years of work.
