Sending GF's pics to strangers via Airdrop
 

Today on the train on the way home from visiting family, me and the girlfriend randomly got talking about how she recently got sent some random photos whilst shopping with her friends from some stranger sharing their holiday pics (presumably sent to her in error).
It got me thinking about it and I joked about doing it to send some of her pics to strangers on the train we were on, she said okay, but only ones that didn't show her face. For a little while, when I tried sending pics, only her phone was showing, but after a few stops and a lot of people getting on and off, there was a few more groups of people in our carriage and lots of iPhones showing up. So, over the course of the remainder of our train journey, we sent the below photos to several people, some declined them but a lot accepted them.

I haven't sent pics of my wife but I do airdrop random funny pics once in awhile. At least half get declined.

I was sitting in my car last fall waiting for my wife to come out of a store,my text went off and I got a message that said Hello phone number neighbor,how ya doing,I wrote back doing good and you,he said yes,what are you doing,I said looking at nude photos of my wife on my phone-which I was doing for real,he said thats great,then he said I'm headed into a gay bar now-Bye---that was it..I wanted to send him a photos but I guess he didn't want one..

I do it randomly when we are at grocery stores - it is funny to see the "receivers" trying to figure out who they see naked on their phone while surrounded by clothed females.

Yeah, there as quite a lot that declined the pics, but equally just as many (if not more) that accepted them. I supposes it depends on the group of people currently close by. I group of females will probably decline them, but a group of males will have a higher number accepting them.


Only works on iPhones, but very simple to do, just go to your photos and then click the menu option at the bottom (square with arrow pointing up), then click on the Airdrop app. If there's anyone else nearby that has their settings set to allow everyone to send them things via airdrop then it will show, just click their phones name and send.
Would love to see the pic you sent your ex-friend.

It was the first time we've done it, but I'm sure that I'll be doing it a bit more regularly now, maybe whilst out drinking in more crowded places.

Im going to have to try this, could be fun.

Also has me thinking I need to change my airdrop setting from "contacts only" to "everyone" as I'd certainly enjoy random pics airdropped to me. Maybe I also need to change my iPhone name to "send me tit pics!" too? lol
