Christmas Day skinny dips
 

We went to a quieter beach in Brighton yesterday, for our first ever Xmas Day dip- well away from the main beach you see in the news, and also later in the day.

Hardly a soul about. Just getting undressed outdoors in winter, seems mad, but then the water bites into you. feck!

It's not something I will do again, in a hurry - have just about thawed out..

Has anyone done a skinny dip / nude run etc, in cold weather?

You watch other do it ........................... take photos if you can and post them hear .
even in the summer its cold .
I no its Christmas but all the drink will not keep you warm in a cold sea.

After the dip
 

Not a Christmas Day skinny dip, but a cold weather swim. We have done a charity dip into cold water, almost icy called the Polar Bear Plunge. It’s not nude, bathing suits. The thing is that it’s so cold in the air that you need to change into dry, warm clothing quickly after.

We did the plunge as a family and with our bear friends. We were so cold after, it’s all you can think of. We ran back to an area for changing and couldn’t wait for more privacy. I saw my friend’s wife naked, he saw my wife naked, and LOL so did our adult son. It wasn’t a long time, but sure got some quick looks. All you cared about was getting dry and warm. My buddy after told me he liked how my wife had a nice full bush. That made my day.
