Nip Slips and attitudes of nip slipper
I've always found it interesting as to how ladies react to "popping out". I've found that women in their twenties and thirties act general differently than those in their forties, I.e. millennial vs gen x if you find those labels useful.
Where as I've found, when a slip occurs on a millennial lady and she realises, she is typically super quick to react. When perhaps a nip pops up over a bikini top, or when adjusting the clips at the back of a bikini top it slips through her fingers and pings back round her front, they are very quick to react, and very concerned if anyone has seen anything. This usually results in a "did I, didn't I?" internal conversation in my head. On the other hand the gen x ladies seem far more relaxed in general. There seems to be an attitude of "I can see my breast is accidentally exposed but I'll just finish what I'm doing/tying the back of my bikini top up first then I'll sort that out." This happened to me yesterday when I strolled down to my local outdoor pool in my lunch hour. I was taking a dip to cool off and there was 40 something lady sunning herself next to her husband less than 10 yards from me. She was fiddling with the ties at the back off her top when suddenly most of her left breast popped out; her nipple and perhaps a couple of inches below. I saw her look down and realise she was exposed; it was very crowded as it was so hot. But she just carried on adjusting the bikini top ties behind her back for maybe 10 seconds before she finally put her breast back out of view. I should say this wasnt a pool where people ever go topless. There were a lot of ladies there in nice, high cut swimwear, or smaller style bikinis. But this lady and her more relaxed attitude was certainly the highlight of my lunch break. |
Yep, I totally agree!
My family spends a lot of time at waterparks, and I find it really fascinating how GenY and GenZ women will wear very daring bikinis and one-pieces, with padded tops that cause a gap between their breast and swimsuit, etc, yet at the same time when something is exposed they tend to freak out in such a way that they seem genuinely surprised and mortified. Same thing when they go braless and cover their boobs with their arms because they are shocked that their nips are poking out. Of course my wife notices all of these scenarios before I do, and she is equally confused by their behaviors and reactions. But when it comes to us GenX and older, women don't seem to care, even though they are more careful to start. Our age group of GenX has a spread of women who are grandmothers to women who have babies, and they will walk around with their kids, bent over in one-piece swimsuits, they will notice that their boobs are showing, they will give one attempt to push their tops against their chest to show a bit of effect, but then they let go again and don't care at all. Then you get to Boomers (actual Boomers, not slang "Boomers" which is anyone over 30), and those women give no care in the world whatsoever. |
Don't think age matters
Best job I ever had, although pay was almost nothing, was deckhand on a dive boat. We would take people out to some shipwrecks so they could dive and explore. My job was to help them get ready to dive and help them out when they surfaced. It was mostly couples, a little older to afford all the equipment, but some college age too.
The best part was when they surfaced and I helped out with the equipment, most people did not own a wet suit, so we had plenty onboard to rent out. The tops were all the pullover type, like a rubber sweater, and 100% of the time, if a woman had on a 2 piece bathing suit, her top was coming off with the wetsuit. Some reacted with a scream and a handbra, but the majority were relaxed about it, just got their top out of the wetsuit and put it back on, age was not a factor. I still remember one woman with incredible boobs who knew the routine, so she just removed her top before she put on a wetsuit, she was topless for quite a while during setup, neither she or her husband seemed to care, I sure didn't mind. That was my summer of 1,000 titties. |

Then, with time, from about the mid 2000s, this relaxed attitude changed a lot. I used to think that this was due to the increased availability of camera phones and the spread of the Internet, which made women afraid of the possibility of someone taking pics and spreading them online, but I've come to the opinion that it's just society that has become quite more conservative than it used to be. |

I'm not convinced about the gen Zs being the same though. Ive sensed a little shift in the 18, 19, 20 ish women I see. They seem more comfortable in the braless, baggy tops and various other items that might cause some inadvertent slips etc. They dont seem especially careful. I've not seem this translate into an uptick in topless sunbathing yet, but then again there hasn't really been the chance with the limited travel allowed. Let's hope Gen Z step up to the plate and reverse the mellenial shy trend and we get back to ladies wanting to confidentally shed their tops on beaches as much as the boomers and gen xers did back in old days. |
We were at a small pool party and my gf loves water. She was in the pool most of the day, in a strapless bikini, playing on the bodyboard, having a few drinks, swimming, chatting etc. After a session on the bodyboard one of her nipples, popped out, and kept popping out.
She knew about it and pretty everyone saw it. Eventually she got sick of the attention, and out of frustration she took it off her bikini top off completely and angrily threw it out the pool. She was topless for a bit, with all the guys staring, but then realized her error of judgement, and stormed off. It was hilarious and sexy at the same time. I managed to snap a few pics of the incident too, much to her annoyance. |
we visited local aquapark with my wife, she was with her strapless bikini while we swim at wave pool, , Suddenly a big wave hit her, then “OMG”, I found her bikini top’s strap was undone, and her boobs were totally exposed. She didnt recognise it, I just directly look around if anybody recognise beside me, just a one teenager boy was staring at her he was blond and skinny guy , I realise how hungry he was looking to her, I love that moment she didnt recognise it and she was very innocent, I decided to watch her a little more without informing her , After 2 minutes she recognise that she was exposed and cover it quickly but Teenage guy had a great view during that 2 minutes.:D

I would correspond the Millennial and younger crowd to the feel good generation and schools. I think that most of the Gen X'rs of which I am one had to start showering after Phys Ed back in Jr High and High School and became comfortable with nudity amongst our peers. While this was not coed it did relax things a bit. Along with the social mores of the time exhibited in movies and theater, even though clothing would be considered more conservative than today.
Even after graduating University my daughter was shocked and embarrassed to see my wife her mother nude. While not an absolute I do believe this to be the norm. Boys/Men of the Z Gen are hesitant to share a bed with another male of the same age because of what I can only presume is some level of perceived homophobia. When My wife went back to College to refresh course prerequisites several of her GF's / Classmates were not worried at all about nudity going naked at the community pool for our housing development after dark. My wife is the younger Boomer. (63) I would be the Older Z (65) And her classmates/GF's are younger Z's (70's) |
Comparing the generations
At backyard gatherings our daughters and daughters-in-law are very protective of their nipples, but my wife is totally casual about it. Especially on a boat, she'll remove her top and leave her breasts exposed even in front of our sons and sons-in-law. No explanation; just does it. Likewise the upskirts: she'll lean back with knees up and apart, and not worry about it. Younger generation would never do that. I guess confidence (or indifference) comes with age!
